College life was getting somewhat comfortable for Ragav. As he tried to be more flexible with his life just like other budding engineers. The biggest festivals of any engineering student are the semester exams. Though the student has not studied throughout the semester he can’t escape from studies during this period of life. He has to study and utilize each and every time available to pass the written exams. Its just similar to the pressure cooker where the pressure builds with a steady phase. The fresher is always tensed about these exams from the day one of the college. But still some of them manage to get the things going on smoothly.
Just like a normal student Ragav preferred to study at late night. But the problem is the more you study you will get hungry! The only available food source at late night was with those who lived nearby Kolhapur just like Ragav he had plenty of food stock available for 4-5 days. But this was not sufficient. There had to be an alternative to this and this MacDonald’s was a better option at the distance of just 5 mins by run! So these guiz whenever were hungry set off to their destination of food just like an owl. But getting to the destination was not an easy task, here the team work played a major role. It was the time to learn some team spirit. One of the roommate had to check on the sleeping guard at the hostel. The guards usually doze of till midnight but some of them stayed awake throughout the night.  Second had to climb the walls of hostel carefully and give a signal to indicate the further road is clear. Every hostel guy will become an expertise in this act and  stealth in their movement that they can beat the marine corps that took out the Osama Bin laden in his sleep!
Examination hall is the place where all the history are written and created. The students enter the hall with the fingers crossed and tensed mind. There’s a whole difference between an examination at high school and engineering, at school you strive hard to get good marks but here the first aim is to get passed in every subject with first class.  The first thing any student will do after getting the question paper in hand is scan the whole paper and check the total number of answers know to every question. If the number is more than 40 marks then its best to him else better luck next time. 3 hours in an examination hall is memorable event of engineer’s life. The time has to be managed while writing the paper. The key to get more marks is to attempt the whole paper with a proper representation of answers and diagrams. After the breath taking 3 hours the first remarkable question asked by friends is “Bhava, stunar kai paper???” (Dude, will you pass in this paper). And the discussion continues with cross checking the answers and other values.

Done with the exams it was the time to get going to a vacation. This was the relief time for everyone. Everyone before waving off good bye promised to call back twice in week which was nevertheless than a dream to come true but still with smile on face, Ragav set of to Bhopal for his vacations. The ancient city of Maharajas Bhopal is one of advanced city in Madhya Pradesh. Everyone in his family tree was an Engineer by profession except for Soumya which was banker, working at a bank in kerala. She was the next person after Reema in the family who helped him in many of his decisions later in his life...
